Responsibilities

  • Conduct EMC measurements for radiated and conducted tests according to a test plan.
  • Consult internal customers on EMC test plans, test setups, and measurement techniques.
  • Work closely with internal customers to bring up equipment for testing and ensure it can be monitored throughout the tests.
  • Work closely with internal customers to identify EMC-related issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Assist with the development and improvement of EMC test procedures, tools, and processes to support consistent and reliable results.
  • Stay current on relevant EMC standards, industry practices, and emerging technologies to help guide application support and product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus in communications engineering.
  • 7.5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in EMC testing and/or RF testing.
  • Familiarity with automotive EMC standards and common EMC test setups on component and IC level.
  • Proficiency with advanced RF measurement techniques and the respective laboratory test & measurement devices.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and technologies, with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, including creating easy-to-understand technical documentation.
  • Comfortable communicating and collaborating with team members from diverse language backgrounds.
  • Collaborative team player who works well across functions, teams, and geographic locations.
  • Experience with control software for automated EMC testing.
  • Experience with script language programming, e.g., Python.
