About the Role
Wells Fargo is seeking two Senior Quantitative Analytics Specialists (Senior GenAI Data Scientists) to drive natural language processing (NLP) and large language model (LLM) initiatives within the Consumer Model Development group. This role is for a seasoned professional passionate about building scalable NLP solutions and innovating LLM applications.
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced statistical theory to quantify, analyze, and manage data, financial risks, and market dynamics through robust modeling approaches.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
- Engage with Audit, Model, Product, and technical stakeholders to ensure transparency, governance, and compliance.
- Establish and promote best practices across the model lifecycle, contributing to analytical strategies and forecasting methodologies.
- Drive innovation through proof-of-concept initiatives, experimentation, and applied research in Generative AI, LLMs, and NLP.
- Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable AI, ML, NLP, and LLM solutions using modern frameworks and cloud-native tools.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Quantitative Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
- Adhere to standards outlined with written policy and applicable State and Federal regulations.
- Willingness to work on-site at the stated location.
