About the Role

Mighty Minds and Muscles Therapy & Coaching Services is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to join a multidisciplinary team in our Lower Manhattan office, serving as an in-clinic and in-school provider. This role offers a gym-like environment that values teamwork, collaboration, and interdisciplinary mentorship, with a focus on neurodiverse-affirming practices and experience with ADHD and ASD.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly under the director of the speech therapy division.
  • Work side-by-side with occupational therapists in a sensory gym setting.
  • Provide three days a week of service in a school alongside an OT.
  • Offer after-school sessions in the clinic in Tribeca.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience preferred, but candidates with less experience, including CFs, will be considered.
  • Previous experience in pediatrics.
  • Valid NY Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • NYC DOE fingerprinting and clearance required prior to the start date.
  • Experience working with ADHD and ASD is a plus.
  • Specialty certifications and a non-traditional approach are highly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, creative, and confident working independently.
  • Willing to work in a small, personable setting with an abundance of resources.
  • Confident, good at communicating, and creative.
  • Willing to invest in themselves through mentorship and continuing education.
