About the Role
Drive reliability from architecture through production for next-generation AI computing systems, partnering across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to build high-performance AI platforms that set the standard for uptime, durability, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Set the reliability strategy for next-generation AI computing systems, across both data center and workstation products.
- Lead root-cause investigations on failures and follow through with fixes across engineering and the supply chain.
- Validate advanced cooling systems, vapor chambers, heat pipes, and direct-to-chip liquid cooling.
- Serve as a point of contact for manufacturing partners and suppliers, ensuring reliability standards are met during the NPI process.
- Mentor other engineers and lead design reviews to elevate the team's standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years in reliability engineering, preferably in high-performance computing, AI hardware, or data center systems.
- Proficiency in statistical reliability methods including HALT, HASS, ALT, MTBF, Weibull analysis, and FMEA.
- Ability to analyze technical problems in a thermal lab and clearly communicate risks and trade-offs to leadership.
- Skilled in collaborating with mechanical, electrical, thermal, and software teams, especially under tight timelines.
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology, subject to U.S. export laws and regulations.
