About the Role
The Tikvah Dance Teacher provides high-quality dance programming for children ages 2-17, exploring Jewish culture through music, dance, art, and Shabbat celebrations. This role involves assisting with the annual dance recital and maintaining a clean, safe studio environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach children’s dance classes including tap, jazz, ballroom and hip-hop.
- Create curriculums for all classes.
- Assist in creation of new classes.
- Provide excellent customer service to families by communicating with them about their child’s experience.
Requirements
- At least two years’ experience working with school-age children.
- Knowledge of and ability to teach dance for elementary-age children.
- Experience in any dance genre is welcome.
- Fluent bilingual spoken language skills in English and Russian.
