About the Role
The Men’s Assistant Soccer Coach serves in the College Athletic Department, assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the soccer program, including recruiting, coaching, and ensuring player eligibility and academic success.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the soccer program.
- Recruit players and hold tryouts.
- Coach the intercollegiate soccer team.
- Become knowledgeable of all USCAA soccer rules and student-athlete eligibility requirements.
- Travel with the team unless alternate arrangements are approved.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times as a representative of the College.
- Supervise staff and student-athletes during travel to ensure their safety.
- Promote the academic success of student-athletes by monitoring academic performance and encouraging high academic standards.
- Be available for flexible hours for practicing and recruiting.
- Assist with scheduling, organizing, supervising, and conducting all practices and games.
- Potentially drive vans to soccer games.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director.
Requirements
- Soccer coaching experience at the high school level or above.
- Clean driving record and a valid Driver License.
