About the Role
The ECA is responsible for supporting the RECE, stimulating, influencing, and caring for the children. Key responsibilities include maintaining a high-quality environment, assessing, observing, and caring for individual child needs, and fostering open communication with parents and team members while exemplifying professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Support the RECE in planning and implementing a program and daily activities.
- Work cooperatively as a team member, encourage others, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Report any issues or concerns in accordance with proper procedures.
- Support and participate with children in all planned activities.
- Establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff, and parents.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the classroom.
Requirements
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR.
- Up-to-date Immunization and 2 tiered TB test.
- Confident and flexible in working with all age groups (Infants to School Age).
- Ability to manage children with challenging behaviours.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents.
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check is contingent upon job offer.
