About the Role

Killewald Small Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate Pet Care Assistant to join our close-knit team, offering a four-day work week that supports a healthy work-life balance, predictable scheduling, and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and comfort for hospitalized and boarding patients.
• Feed, walk, and monitor pets while maintaining their safety and well-being.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms, and hospital equipment.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient restraint and routine procedures.
• Prepare patient-care areas and keep supplies clean, stocked, and organized.
• Support the medical team with daily hospital operations.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for patients, clients, and teammates.
• Work collaboratively to help the hospital operate efficiently each day.
