About the Role

Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop the data platform, starting with a reference data system for securities and pricing data, and expanding to other data domains.
- Follow internal development standards to contribute to the team's overall agenda.
- Collaborate with business teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify solutions.
- Engage with IT systems architects, database administrators, and the cyber security team to meet application back-end functionality demands.
- Partner with graphic artists, user interface designers, and front-end engineers to create application front-end interfaces and optimize user experience.
- Liaise with other technology and development teams for application integration within the company's software ecosystem.
- Participate in development meetings to align priorities, assign tasks, and share experiences.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 4 years of experience including Python programming, building resilient APIs, Azure Data Bricks, Spark and Polars python frameworks/libraries, fixed income and equities reference data, and Bloomberg reference data.
- Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of their office location.
