About the Role
Surefox North America Inc. is seeking an experienced part-time Flex Executive Protection & Residential Security Agent with high integrity and professionalism to join our team in the Bay Area or outside of California. You will work on assigned projects under the guidance of the Team Leader and Program Managers & GSOC for top Silicon Valley clients and beyond. In this role, you will act as a liaison between Surefox and its clients, providing physical security at residences, during transport, and at public events, adhering to all client policies, procedures, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, incident detection, observation, physical security, overwatch and reconnaissance to assigned clients.
- Address staffing deficiencies and handle client requests in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary security liaison for C-suite executives, key stakeholders, and high-profile clients, translating complex security assessments into clear, strategic briefings.
- Conduct ongoing site risk and vulnerability assessments, proactively delivering actionable intelligence and strategic guidance.
- Deliver low-profile, C-suite-level physical security for assigned principals and clients, ensuring safety, diplomacy, and operational discretion.
- Act as the decisive on-site Incident Commander during critical events, managing real-time communication between C-suite stakeholders, the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), and physical response teams.
- Produce polished, publication-ready incident reports and post-incident analyses for C-suite review.
- Direct perimeter integrity protocols, badge credentialing, and technical security integrators.
- Oversee threat detection across Video Management Systems (VMS), Access Control Systems (ACS), and digital alarm monitoring, merging technical surveillance with foot and vehicle patrols.
- Maintain an immaculate professional appearance, an executive-level demeanor, high physical fitness, and a sophisticated command of modern security technology platforms.
- Develop relationships with clients and facilitate collaboration.
- Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements.
- Manage/monitor surveillance equipment and access points.
- Maintain a log of all activity occurring at the residence.
- Screen all incoming mail.
- Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/or by vehicle while monitoring access.
- Contact the police or fire department if and when there is an emergency.
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and/or client property.
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
- Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients.
- Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes.
- Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while maintaining a high level of attentiveness and energy.
- Be responsible for client and family safety, as well as safeguarding client assets.
- Conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
- Operate motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and points of interest.
- Operate in a low profile, low footprint capacity.
- Follow Residential Security Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
- Comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures.
- Support staffing requirements at multiple Surefox campus locations during shortages.
- Support and staff various positions, including Incident Commander, Supervisor, Team Lead, Residential or Executive Protection Agent.
- Work security at events, as needed.
- Work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and work during “high need” periods.
- Work and support multiple shifts, to include; Days, Swings, and Graves.
- Staff multiple locations.
- Be familiar and comply with standard operating procedures set by programs and/or clients.
Requirements
- Must have current California CCW License.
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
- Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
- Must have a current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard card.
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages is required.
- Possess a valid and current driver license.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
- Ability to work autonomously, domestic and internationally.
- Have an operational understanding of today’s technology across all platforms.
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to pass the Protective Operations Surefox Physical Agility Test (PO SPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date.
- Passing the physical agility test (SPAT) is a requirement for this position.
