About the Role

Join Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP (BT) as a Sage Intacct Consultant specializing in the Construction/CRE Vertical. You will work directly with customers delivering software solutions for implementation projects, focusing on high customer satisfaction and successful adoption. Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously in the construction vertical to successfully implement following our prescriptive implementation methodology.
  • Execute all aspects of the implementation process, including collaborative consultation, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, testing, training, data cleansing, and data migration.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Sage Intacct software, including advanced modules and new features, especially those related to Sage Intacct CRE product functionality.
  • Configure and implement Sage Intacct software based on a thorough understanding of customer-specific business processes and industry best practices.
  • Maintain deep vertical knowledge of the construction industry, including micro-verticals.
  • Follow a prescriptive implementation approach utilizing templated project plans.
  • Utilize and develop less experienced implementation resources through on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
  • Conduct training for customer end-users.
  • Document customer business requirements into configurable software solutions and business management processes.
  • Respond to customer technical support issues related to system implementation.
  • Understand, design, and build industry-specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards.
  • Work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment with various departments.
  • Deliver prompt, concise, and friendly communications while providing high-quality service.
  • Contribute to and use knowledge repository of deployment best practices.
  • Mentor Associate Solution Architects and Solution Architects on processes, Sage Intacct modules, and customer/project management.
  • Serve as an escalation point for project issues.
  • Learn and grow from direct on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with clients.
  • Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Business or MIS.
  • Candidate must have a general understanding of accounting terms through previous courses or experience.
  • One (1)+ years’ experience providing consulting and implementing Sage Intacct.
  • Vertical industry understanding gained either through operational or accounting involvement in the construction space.
  • Consulting experience end-to-end through the entire software delivery life cycle following a process-based methodology or experience as an end user who has gone through a software implementation or upgrade.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.) is preferred for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data.
