About the Role

Passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering outstanding communication at all times. You will perform a variety of functions to ensure wonderful service to all patients, staff, and visitors in the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Review patient meal ticket for all vital information, ensuring corrective action is taken if information is incorrect or missing.
• Set up patient tray neatly, according to guidelines, to include hot and cold food items and all other vital items.
• Check assembled tray for accuracy and completeness prior to loading onto tray delivery cart.
• Load hot and cold tray delivery cart onto cargo master and dispatches to unit as specified on tray ticket.
• Ensure trays are prepped and appropriately dispatched according to time printed on ticket.
• Advise room service associate on unit, via Nextel radio, that a cart has been sent to that unit.
• Supervise inventory of supplies before and after each meal service.
• Preparation of cold food items as needed.
• Completes Storeroom Requisition Form as needed and submits to supervisor for approval to maintain par levels.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions.
• Experience working in hospitality: hotels, restaurants, and food & beverage or similar field.
