About the Role
The OCFS Children Residence consists of 3 programs serving males, females, and LGBTQ+ youth ages 16 to 21 who exhibit a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges stemming from acute and/or chronic traumatization. The Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) Coordinator will oversee the preparation for group sessions, ensure youth participation, and gather data for the biannual PIR.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation for group sessions and ensure youth participation.
- Gather necessary data to complete the biannual PIR.
- Oversee data tracking, collection, analysis, and reporting via the Program Implementation Review (PIR).
- Troubleshoot implementation barriers, implement action steps, and track progress.
- Participate in ongoing training to develop expertise in ITM (DBT) and become a culture carrier.
- Assist in the day-to-day working of the ITM model, including skills groups, modeling, coaching, and teaching skills.
- Organize groups in both programs.
- Ensure group facilitators are ready weekly by providing group supervisors.
- Facilitate groups as necessary across programs.
- Attend all ITM consultations and leadership meetings.
- Carry a small clinical caseload at Cedar Knolls House.
- Engage in weekly therapy with assigned clients.
- Complete documentation timely according to policy.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

Experience Level
- Minimum of two years of experience in child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health, or other residential treatment setting.
- Experience facilitating groups.
- Specialized experience with residential treatment may also be required.
Education Level
- LCSW, LMSW, or a Master's degree in social work, Behavioral Health, or related field.
