About the Role

The Program Assistant II will support the region by providing reception, administrative, and program support. This role involves responding to public inquiries and covering other locations within the GTA as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the region by providing reception, administrative and program support.
  • Providing information in response to public inquiries for all programs.
  • Covering other neighboring locations within GTA when required by your manager.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma in Office or Business Administration.
  • 2-3 years’ related experience, preferably in a Hearing Healthcare setting and/or medical office.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet, and database applications.
  • Intermediate accounting skills.
  • Enthusiastic individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Ability to handle a pressurized environment.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Legally eligible for employment in Canada.
  • Vaccines (COVID and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
