About the Role

United Dental Corporation is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our growing team in the vibrant Upper East Side area. We are looking for a dependable, patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
  • Sterilize and maintain clinical equipment
  • Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations
  • Support patient flow and provider efficiency
  • Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
  • Provide an outstanding patient experience from check-in to check-out

Requirements

  • Active Dental Assistant Certification or Registration
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • Dental radiology certification (if required by state)
  • Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • EFDA Certification (where applicable)
  • Coronal Polishing Certification
  • Sealant Certification
  • Experience with digital radiography
  • Experience with dental software and electronic health records
  • Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments
  • Bilingual skills (if applicable to market)
