About the Role
Special Projects Coordinators (SPCs) execute key logistics and provide operational support that enable students and teachers alike to flourish. The SPC is the executor of various school systems including assessments, facilities, student food service, staff & student technology, and event planning.
Responsibilities
- Execute family and student events, such as Report Card Conferences.
- Manage internal quarterly assessments and state assessments, ensuring state testing compliance and regulations are followed.
- Coordinate student food systems, including meal dispersal and vendor partnerships.
- Oversee student and staff technology.
- Manage school visual décor and aesthetics to create a welcoming environment.
- Coordinate transportation systems.
- Support extra-curricular activities, enrichment programs, and field trips.
- Undertake other projects and new initiatives to support operations and student achievement.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
- Experience in large project oversight from planning to execution with accountability for results.
- Strong digital literacy skills, including database management and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior project management and/or office-based customer service experience.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- 1 to 3 years of teaching or school administrative office experience.
- Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
