About the Role

The Starbucks Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in leading the store team during shifts to deliver legendary customer service and ensure smooth operations. This position is responsible for executing store operations, providing guidance, and fostering a positive environment for both partners and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage and oversee store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in training new partners and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders as needed and manage stock to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Support the Store Manager in executing marketing promotions and store events.
  • Prepare shift reports and communicate effectively with management regarding store performance and any issues.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
