About the Role

As a Shipper/Receiver, you will participate in warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.

Responsibilities

• Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers’ orders preparing them for delivery.
• Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations.
• Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations.
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.
• Understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP.
• Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
• Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates and pallet wrap machines.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment experience.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.
• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
• Available to work overtime as required.
