About the Role

Saluda Medical is a commercial-stage medical device company focused on developing treatments for chronic neurological conditions using its novel closed-loop neuromodulation platform. The company’s proprietary technology senses and measures neural responses to stimulation and automatically adjusts therapy based on real-time neurophysiological feedback. The Clinical Specialist is responsible for primary clinical support in assisting sales representatives to develop new sales opportunities and accounts with physician and hospital accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, patient care, installation and maintenance of company products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and staff at assigned clinical sites by providing a high level of service and responsiveness.
  • Provide ongoing education and clinical expertise regarding the use of the company’s products.
  • Possess and share superior clinical knowledge of the Company’s products, their clinical applications, instructions for use and procedural techniques.
  • Provide technical and educational training to physicians and staff on the use of the company’s products.
  • Provide case support, including Operating Room/Procedure support.
  • Work with sales, marketing, and R & D personnel to communicate product, clinical and market information to appropriate Saluda personnel to support and develop product improvements.
  • Serve as primary resource for clinical support including, but not limited to: troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.
  • Perform patient follow-up to assure customer and patient success with the implanted products.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with hospital personnel.
  • Visit customers and patients in a clinical environment (hospitals, operating rooms, clinics and surgical centers).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in implantable medical devices.
  • Operating room experience.
