About the Role

The Associate Director, Senior Algo Developer will provide technical and architectural leadership while building out automated electronic trading and algo technology across Rates and FX for the next generation platform.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design and architecture for the strategic Rates and FX platform.
  • Developing key features across Rates and FX algos.
  • Ensuring cross-asset solutions for Macro trading businesses.
  • Liaising with key business stakeholders on electronic trading solutions.
  • Performing complex application programming activities including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying automated trading applications.

Requirements

  • 100% hands-on development experience in building algo trading features and overall systems.
  • Expertise with design and architecture around electronic trading platforms.
  • Experience with the entire SDLC for highly concurrent low latency trading systems.
  • 10+ years of Java development experience.
  • Expertise with Rates or FX trading systems.
  • Experience with building out eMacro e-books and automated trading strategies is a plus.
