About the Role
As a PEGA BPM developer, your main responsibility is to work with the Tech Lead to design and build high-profile workflow applications with quality and speed. You are to adopt an agile mindset and implement DevOps for faster delivery cycles. You will also participate in BPM chapter meetings and contribute to best practices.
Responsibilities
- Participate in lab discussions to understand and contribute to business requirements.
- Assist Tech Lead with application design and independently design sub-components.
- Develop PEGA solutions that meet requirements and comply with PEGA best practices, including unit testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and defects independently and quickly.
- Configure DevOps processes to automate code deployment to higher environments.
- Communicate proactively with the lab and management regarding work progress, issues, and needs for assistance.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of PEGA PRPC versions 7, 8, and Infinity.
- Familiarity with JAVA, XML, SOAP, Rest API, SQL.
- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS.
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong curiosity about technology and software engineering.
- PEGA Certified System Architect.
- PEGA Certified Senior System Architect.
