About the Role
Design, build, and debug industrial controls for robotic solutions, playing a critical role with opportunities for independent design decisions and high ownership.
Responsibilities
- Design industrial automation cells from the ground up, including power supply, instrumentation, actuation, safety, and compute.
- Research and select optimal instrumentation and actuation architectures.
- Integrate traditional automation electronics with custom electrical solutions.
- Purchase components and assist in building designed solutions.
- Debug cell issues, including problem approach and functional problems.
Requirements
- Designed an industrial automation cell from zero at least once.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
- Understanding of programming fundamentals and some programming experience.
- A desire to learn and grow skills quickly.
- Ability to use AI to multiply productivity.
- Experience working with vision-based systems.
- PCB design experience / solid understanding of mixed signal electrical design.
- Programming experience in Python, Embedded Rust.
- Driven with the initiative to tackle any problem.
- Passion and ability to learn everything about robotics.
