About the Role
Heidelberg Materials is a global leader in building materials, and this role is crucial for supporting our production goals by safely and efficiently operating loader equipment to move and load materials.
Responsibilities
- Operate loader equipment safely and efficiently to move and load materials.
- Inspect, maintain, and report equipment conditions to ensure reliable operation.
- Support production goals by supplying material to crushers, conveyors, and stockpiles.
- Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily activities.
Requirements
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and confidently.
- Strong awareness of safety practices and commitment to following procedures.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Skill in identifying equipment issues and reporting them promptly.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and readiness to learn site processes.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
