About the Role
DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide life-giving care in an outpatient dialysis center, making a significant difference in the lives of patients and families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. This role offers the opportunity to deliver empathetic and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
- Work with your head, heart and hands each day in a fast paced environment.
- Float to various facilities during and after your training.
- Commit to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required
- Current CPR certification required
- IV certification required if required by state regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required
- Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required
