About the Role

Cirona Labs is hiring an entry-level Extraction Assistant to support the Extraction Department. This role focuses on preparing materials, maintaining compliance, and building foundational skills for a career in regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and pack biomass for ethanol and hydrocarbon extraction, verifying weights, labels, and SOP steps.
  • Stage materials, support load-in/load-out, and assist with production tasks under supervision.
  • Clean extraction bags, glassware, tools, and work areas to sanitation standards.
  • Weigh biomass/solvents/materials on precision scales and assist with inventory tracking.
  • Handle waste, storage, and labeling requirements.
  • Report spills or equipment concerns promptly.
  • Follow all safety rules, including PPE and solvent-handling requirements.

Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work on your feet in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Able to follow written procedures.
  • Comfortable with basic lab tools.
