About the Role

Sentara Leigh Hospital is hiring a Full-time Cook to prepare all hot foods for patient trayline, café, and functions. This role requires working rotating shifts, including days and evenings, and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all hot foods for patient trayline, café, and functions including (but not limited to) entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population (PACE specific).
• Food Handlers required upon hire for all locations for SLC positions.
• Less than a year of Cook experience (Required)
• Less than a year of Food Service experience (Required)

• Sentara Leigh Hospital is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
