About the Role

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Therapy Technician to join the team at our Barclays Center location in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Therapy Technicians support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment, and performing procedures under therapist supervision. A high standard of clinical excellence and 5-star customer service is expected, along with a collaborative spirit to foster a community environment.

Preparing treatment areas

Performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist

Requirements

Previous customer service experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to grow
Athletic experience a plus
Manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
Ability to routinely lift loads of 5-35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and shoulder to overhead
Ability to routinely carry loads of 5-10# for 40-50’
Ability to routinely push loads of 5-150# on casters, runners or pulleys
Ability to sustain a grip for 1-2 minutes of 40-50#
