About the Role
Seeking a Social Media Manager experienced in campaign management and execution. This role involves leading client and functional teams, structuring strategy, and developing junior team members. The ideal candidate is an engaged leader responsible for guiding team growth and ensuring efficient, error-free operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive overall digital strategy and associated tactics to meet client’s goals, working closely with account lead(s)
- Act as a leader with the client and across all departmental teams, effectively prioritizing and negotiating needs
- Manage and develop junior team members through mentoring and training
- Prioritize and manage quarterly priorities and ad-hoc requests to ensure timely execution and client satisfaction
- Problem-solve and find solutions for novel issues
- Proactively share learnings and best practices across the organization
- Establish oneself as an expert within their functional department and client team
- Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and effectiveness through new processes
- Propose new ideas to meet client goals and grow business
- Consult, educate, and negotiate with clients and agency partners
- Communicate paid media insights, reporting, trends, and new initiatives to clients, agency partners, and vendors
- Present recommendations and ideas to clients and internal teams
- Merchandise successes effectively to the client
- Educate client teams on the latest trends, best practices, and technologies
- Demonstrate appropriate judgment through proper escalation
- Oversee campaign management including pacing, reporting, and optimizations
- Develop cross-channel performance strategies
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and partner updates
- Proactively bring new opportunities and ideas to the team for broader business impact
- Ensure clear communication between various agency capabilities and the performance team
- Serve as the day-to-day lead on client communications
Requirements
- Experience in campaign management and execution
- Experience managing a team, delegating tasks, and providing growth opportunities
- Proven track record of managing-up and actively communicating to all team members
- Ability to articulate communications clearly and concisely to external and internal teams
- Accountability for all aspects of the plan and ability to flag and escalate concerns appropriately
- Deep understanding of social performance campaigns and activation
- Ability to help strategists and coordinators develop insights and actions
- Passion for advertising and establishing oneself as a thought leader
- Proactive self-starter
- General knowledge of direct marketing principles and strategies
- Polished presentation, communication, and listening skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Confidence in analyzing and acting on marketing data

- Paid social optimizations (proactive and reactive)
- Forecasting and opportunity/gap analysis
- Campaign management tools, including bid rules/management
- Advanced social platform knowledge across all objectives (awareness, consideration and conversion)
- Monitoring new social trends and products and evaluating application to client
- Research tools/competitive analysis
- Budget/pacing and billing

- $50,000 - $95,000
