About the Role
The Business Analytics team is pivotal in the delivery of modern agency services, tightly integrated with strategy and investment teams to deliver on and exceed clients’ business goals. This role is accountable for paid media analytics for a major streaming platform in the Entertainment category, focused on Originals series and movie title campaigns within a full portfolio of Sports, Brand, and Live Events content marketing.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to identify business problems/opportunities and develop practical analytics roadmaps.
- Become a trusted advisor to client leads and senior clients, consulting on Originals program strategy, measurement, and advanced analytics.
- Share points of view regarding industry changes in data and analytics (e.g., future of measurement, new data solutions like clean rooms, attention measurement).
- Lead the development and execution of the measurement plan, revising it based on learnings.
- Distill complex concepts and analytic solutions into compelling data stories with actionable conclusions.
- Identify growth opportunities at the brand and portfolio level and the adoption of new analytics technologies.
- Investigate the impact of new data sources and technologies on Originals marketing performance.
- Provide ad hoc support to clients to solve broad strategic marketing problems.
- Lead and mentor direct reports, assessing capabilities, providing career growth roadmaps, and instituting goals.
- Ensure timely and impactful ongoing performance reporting (Trailer, weekly, post-campaign wrap reports).
- Partner with Strategy and Investment teams on media plan development, optimization, insights, and decision-making frameworks.
- Partner with Data Science team to execute advanced analytics for media measurement and decision-making.
- Partner with Strategy and Investment teams to develop, maintain, and evangelize test & learn roadmaps, including A/B test design.
- Partner with colleagues focused on Brand and Sports content marketing to adopt best practices and align approaches.
- Partner with Data Operations organization to develop and deploy front-end reporting and insights capabilities.
- Recruit new talent.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments through research, training, and industry events.
Requirements
- Industry knowledge in marketing analytics and data (1st and 3rd party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated and user level data).
- Experience in integrated marketing related to paid media, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, ROI development.
- Channels of coverage include Paid Social (Meta, TikTok et al), YouTube, CTV (Samsung, Peacock et al) and Linear TV.
- Expertise in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising.
- Analytic skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution.
- Proven leadership ability and strong, impactful client relationship experience.
- Stellar communication and presentation skills; ability to translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programs.
- Ability to train and coach colleagues for growth, including organization, detail orientation, prioritization, business writing & presenting, conducting analysis, and project management.
