About the Role

This role owns the on-chain substrate for the DeFi Integrity Engine, including ingestion, attribution integration, and composability decoding. You will also co-own the UMA oracle-surveillance R&D, contributing to a critical standalone SOW with its own go-live date.

Responsibilities

• Own the on-chain ingestion path end to end, indexing contract events, settled fills, transfers, and resolution outcomes at scale.
• Decode the venue's settlement mechanics and the composability layer.
• Own the attribution substrate by evaluating and integrating commercial wallet-clustering feeds and fusing them with on-chain behavioral clustering.
• Trace funds across chains and bridges for provenance and funding-source surveillance.
• Co-own the optimistic-oracle surveillance R&D.
• Feed on-chain features and cluster-grain signals into the shared detection stack.

Requirements

• EVM / Polygon fluency at the data level, including reading and decoding on-chain transactions and events.
• Understanding of how contracts settle, including the CTF conditional-token framework, USDC→collateral flow, and ERC-1155 outcome-token transfers.
• On-chain data engineering experience, including pulling and indexing chain data at scale.
• Experience with cross-chain / bridge tracing to follow funds across chains.
• DeFi mechanism literacy, including flash loans, lending markets, leverage, and AMMs.
• Experience with Chainalysis (or comparable) attribution tooling.
• Understanding of UMA / optimistic-oracle, including the resolution and dispute mechanism.
• A surveillance / attribution mindset, focusing on investigating wallet activity rather than just protocol development.
