About the Role
By The Bay Health is seeking a full-time Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to hospice patients. This role is crucial in maximizing the quality of life for patients, caregivers, and families by addressing practical, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed
- Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation
- Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen
- Assist with prescribed exercises as directed
Requirements
- MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE
- Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program.
- Experience in hospice or home health preferred.
- Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
- By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.
Skills
- Multilingual in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Taishanese preferred
