About the Role

Success Academy is seeking an experienced Strategy and Business Development leader to serve as a strategic architect and effective operator. This role will tackle the organization’s most complex and highest-priority challenges, moving between enterprise-level strategy and tactical program execution. You will play a leading role in building the strategic capabilities, systems, and processes that will enable Success Academy to deliver on its ambition to scale world-class schools and reimagine public education.

Responsibilities

Shape the enterprise agenda by serving as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders.
Build systematic solutions by developing strategic operating cadences and establishing strategic planning processes.
Solve the hardest cross-functional problems by leading structured problem-solving and ensuring execution.
Deliver business insights and decision support by proactively surfacing trends and opportunities.
Operationalize market and competitive intelligence to drive enterprise strategy.
Source partnership opportunities by identifying, vetting, and structuring partnerships.
Elevate and enhance work with AI by integrating it into analysis, communication, and decision support.

Requirements

10+ years of experience, ideally including time at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or comparable environment.
In-house strategy or business development experience is highly valued.
Ability to break down hard, ambiguous problems quickly, see connections, and bring structure.
Track record of driving complex initiatives from definition through implementation with high agency and excellent execution.
Ability to distill complex information into clear recommendations for executive audiences.
Ability to scan the external ecosystem to source, vet, and structure potential partnerships.
Strong quantitative and data-visualization skills.
Genuine enthusiasm for using AI to elevate work.
High drive, low ego, with a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
