About the Role
As an Associate Consultant, you will gain insight into the strategic issues facing today's life sciences companies and the healthcare industry. Associates work in case teams to identify critical issues, develop analytical components, and drive conclusions and recommendations, developing sound business and strategy fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Develop building blocks to identify critical issues.
- Develop key analytical components.
- Drive conclusions and recommendations.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of both the science and business sides of healthcare.
- Work in case teams of 4-7 professionals led by a Manager or Partner.
Requirements
- Highly intelligent and self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, robust attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellence and leadership during school and internships.
- Proven analytic abilities, a rigorous quantitative background, and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
- Strong interest in life sciences.
- Strong teamwork examples.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.3 is required with 3.5 or better preferred.
- Economics, finance or science majors are especially well suited for this position.
- This is not an entry-level MBA position.
