About the Role

The Zone Lead reports to the Assistant Store Manager and supports merchandising in designated zones. They maintain an active selling culture by ensuring visual aspects are set and upheld to company standards to drive sales. This role provides expertise in visual standards, merchandising techniques, and the implementation of in-store marketing elements. The Zone Lead influences team members to be knowledgeable about visual merchandising and standards, demonstrating ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Responsibilities include vigorous lifting, carrying, moving, and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Supports all aspects of visual merchandising processes by planning and leading transitions, reinventions, product assortment changes, and resets.
• Maintains visual integrity, a neat/clean, organized environment, and inspires guests through compelling visual merchandising.
• Supports Task Management by planning and executing daily/weekly workload and assigned tasks.
• Ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions.
• Processes freight sorts, stocks product in designated areas, including down stocking and end cap maintenance.
• Maintains a neat, clean, organized zone.
• Supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience.
• Participates in regular meetings/huddles with team members on operational subjects.
• Serves as a role model and coach in visual merchandising experience and provides continuous learning opportunities.
• Leverages daily interactions to communicate and train visual priorities and creation of visual moments.
• Reviews store financial and business data from the store scorecard, including sales and expenses.
• Acts within assigned zones to improve metrics.
• Ensures the maintenance of a neat, clean, organized zone.
• Ensures the store is always up to date with current signing and sets.
• Performs other duties assigned based on business needs.
• Open Availability (requires nights and weekends).

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times.
• Ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
