About the Role

Gabrielli Truck Leasing and Rental is hiring Mobile Diesel Fleet Emergency Technicians (Class A & B) to join their roadside service team. This role involves working independently from a mobile service vehicle to perform maintenance and repairs for customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled roadside maintenance and minor repairs, including oil/filter changes, lighting, tires, greasing, and minor component replacements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on commercial trucks and fleet equipment.
• Ensure all repairs meet Federal Motor Carrier DOT standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work using company systems.
• Operate service tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team leads.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Minimum 1–3 years of diesel technician or fleet maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, kneel, crawl, and work in various physical conditions.
• Comfortable working alone in a mobile setting with limited supervision.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet browser).
• Must own tools necessary to perform mobile repair and maintenance work.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to obtain CDL License and/or NYS Heavy Duty Inspector’s License.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.
