About the Role

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the nursing leadership team of a respected healthcare organization. This role involves overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring exceptional clinical care, supervising staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance within a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinical and operational functions of assigned nursing unit(s).
  • Lead, supervise, coach, and support RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
  • Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care consistent with organizational standards.
  • Monitor resident conditions and coordinate appropriate clinical interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
  • Conduct regular clinical rounds and monitor quality indicators.
  • Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary conferences.
  • Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with staffing coordination, employee coaching, performance management, and clinical education.
  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on accountability, teamwork, and outstanding resident outcomes.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Previous nurse management or supervisory experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is required.
  • Strong understanding of skilled nursing regulations, clinical operations, and long-term care best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop nursing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care.
  • Experience working with dementia residents is strongly preferred for candidates interested in the Memory Care Unit Manager position.
