About the Role
At a senior level, you will develop, build, and implement improvements to LCRA’s learning programs aimed at enhancing individual and organizational performance and engaging employees. You will ensure learning programs are effective, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with the team and leadership to ensure excellence across all of Transmission’s Learning and Development’s training portfolio. Take a creative perspective to solve complex problems and demonstrate initiative. Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may direct the work of fellow colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Build engaging eLearning modules, job aids, facilitator guides, assessments, and blended learning experiences.
- Work directly with subject matter experts to translate role responsibilities, workflows, policies, and procedures into learner-centered training experiences.
- Write learning objectives, build learning activities, and develop scripts and storyboards using adult learning principles and instructional building frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent).
- Conduct needs analyses, research new learning technologies, and implement feedback from learners.
- Build digital learning content using tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Vyond, or similar platforms.
- Incorporate real-world role scenarios and practice opportunities to reinforce learning transfer.
Requirements
- Nine or more years of experience in companywide and/or operational training and development programs or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in human resource management, business administration, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
