About the Role
This role focuses on creating and executing test scenarios and cases to ensure software quality, with a specific emphasis on data validation for Fraud Strategies. The position involves analyzing test results, reporting defects, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for software testing within an assigned application portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead the testing requirements and design reviews, including overseeing the work of testing teams.
- Create and execute moderate to complex test scenarios and cases.
- Track and monitor defects.
- Report testing status via test summary and defect reporting.
- Support a specific application(s) that may support a specific line of business (LOB), channel or other business function.
- Serve as Subject matter expert (SME) from a software testing perspective for application(s) in assigned portfolio.
- Collaborate with other LOBs and Tech partners to ensure software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education and related training
- Six years of experience in testing and quality assurance processes
- Working knowledge of test management tools, such as HP Application Lifecycle Management or Quality Center
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
- Understand business, functional and technical aspects applications in assigned portfolio
- Understand application landscape (e.g. application architecture, physical and logical deployment, interfaces, dependencies) for applications in assigned portfolio
