About the Role

S:US is seeking a Facilities Manager for their families with children shelter in the Bronx. This role involves supervisory oversight and training for residential aides and maintenance staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervisory oversight and training to residential aides and contracted maintenance staff.
  • Conduct ongoing individual supervisory meetings, building inspections, and provide job performance feedback.
  • Coordinate work schedules, timesheets, and requests for time off.
  • Coordinate work assignments and evaluate paperwork and documentation, including Security Log and Maintenance Work Order Log books.
  • Coordinate security and maintenance staff training, development, and evaluation.
  • Fulfill duties of residential aides and/or custodial personnel in their absence, as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Security or Building Maintenance
  • Experience in office management and/or staff supervision is required.
  • Experience working in a large residential/institutional setting with a special needs population is required.
  • Strong writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
  • F-80 Certification
  • CPR/ First Aid Certification

Skills

  • NYS Driver’s License
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking
