About the Role
This Medical Affairs Internship focuses on supporting the medical team by conducting literature searches, analyzing clinical data, and assisting in the creation of scientific content. The role involves stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and monitoring competitive intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct literature searches, analyze clinical data, and summarize key findings for the medical team.
- Assist in developing and reviewing scientific materials such as slide decks, manuscripts, and educational resources.
- Help organize Advisory Boards, symposia, and virtual meetings with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals.
- Partner with Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Development teams to ensure content accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor emerging scientific developments, competitor data, and the market access landscape.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD) in a health-related or life sciences field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex clinical data into clear, actionable insights.
- Attention to detail and familiarity with interpreting clinical trials, health economics literature, or systematic reviews.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and reference management tools.
- English language proficiency.
