About the Role
The Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law and the Department of Philosophy invite applications for a full-time tenure stream position in Law and Philosophy. This joint appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Sustain and lead innovative and independent research.
- Maintain an outstanding, competitive, and externally funded research program.
- Fulfill assigned teaching and service load.
Requirements
- Hold a JD or equivalent degree.
- Hold a doctoral degree, earned by the time of appointment or shortly thereafter (preferred).
- Demonstrate a clear record of excellence in research and teaching.
- Possess an established international reputation.
- Have research and teaching expertise in both Law and Philosophy.
- Provide evidence of research excellence, including sustained high-impact contributions and publications in top-ranked journals.
- Provide evidence of teaching excellence through teaching accomplishments, a teaching dossier, and strong letters of reference.
