About the Role

Advisor Service Representatives provide support to Advisors concerning mutual fund dealer (Quadrus) policies and procedures. This is a service-oriented role with no sales component, focused on building trusted relationships and utilizing financial knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries from Quadrus advisors and clients via phone, fax, and e-mail.
  • Provide explanation of Quadrus processes and education on use of Investment Centre technology and other tools and resources.
  • Communicate sensitive processing issues to representatives to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between Quadrus advisors, fund companies, and internal partners.
  • Investigate complaints and issues, including research with fund companies.
  • Achieve service standards and work to ensure compliance with National Instruments.
  • Build rapport with advisors, their local leaders, and field contacts.

Requirements

  • Completion of IFIC or Canadian Securities Course is an asset.
  • Persistence in ensuring prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing and managing deadlines.
  • Ability to be a team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Good coping skills and tolerance of ambiguity.
  • Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required.
