About the Role

This role owns the part of CrowdStrike's Identity Protection product that reduces identity exposure and shrinks the blast radius when an identity is compromised. It involves understanding an identity's full digital footprint, finding where risk concentrates, prioritizing what matters most, and turning that into action. This is a significant opportunity for a Sr. Product Manager to define the approach in an area with significant scope.

Responsibilities

  • Own how Identity Protection finds and prioritizes identity risk, defining the strategy for detecting risk across every identity type and turning raw findings into an actionable view.
  • Own the strategy for closing the loop from finding to fix, deciding where automation is appropriate and how the product proves a fix worked.
  • Define how identities relate to each other and to the resources they touch, establishing a clear model of connections to reveal risk.
  • Drive identity risk as shared context across the security stack, working with engineering teams to make context available wherever decisions are made.
  • Use AI agents as a core part of how you work for research, analysis, spec iteration, and customer synthesis.

Requirements

  • Hands-on background in IAM, identity governance, privileged access, or a closely adjacent technical domain.
  • Real understanding of how identity relationships work, including account inheritance, entitlement propagation, transitive privilege paths, and cross-tenant trust.
  • Familiarity with non-human identity, including service accounts, workload identity, and machine credentials.
  • Fluency with core identity protocols like oAuth, OIDC, and SAML, and understanding where their implementation creates exploitable risk.
  • Understanding of how AI agents authenticate, the implications of scoped vs. standing access, and the identity and security implications of agents chaining tool calls.
  • Comfort working directly with graph structures and data models, including writing queries and critically reading results.
  • 5+ years in product management, with proven experience in bringing products from 0 to 1 and scaling them.
  • Comfortable driving ambiguous areas from problem definition to delivered product.
  • AI agents are a core part of how you work today for research, analysis, spec iteration, customer synthesis, and stakeholder prep.
  • Strong instinct for simplification, making complex concepts usable for non-experts.
  • Able to mock and iterate on ideas rapidly using tools like Claude Code, Lovable, or Replit.
  • Able to explain complex identity or risk concepts in plain language to various audiences.
  • Strong written communication skills across various formats.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
  • Practical familiarity with how identity providers are configured, where they create risk, and how attackers exploit gaps.
  • Understanding of cloud vendor IAM models and how misconfigured cloud identities expand the attack surface.
  • Ability to reason about the combined attack surface when various identity components connect to the same resource.
