About the Role
The New York Post is seeking a part-time Product Intern to gain hands-on experience in digital products, audience growth, and data-driven decision-making. This internship offers the chance to work closely with Product Managers and Strategy Leads to influence the future of an iconic media brand.
Responsibilities
- Assist in product development and strategy initiatives to enhance digital experiences
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends
- Support KPI tracking, performance analysis, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tech, editorial, and business units
- Help create presentations and reports for senior stakeholders
- Organize and maintain product documentation and roadmaps
- Stay up to date on industry trends, audience insights, and media innovations
Requirements
- Open to current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year
- Requires in-office attendance at our Midtown Manhattan office
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Interest in data tools like Looker or Tableau (a plus!)
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in digital products, audience strategy, and the evolving media landscape
