About the Role
The New York Post Internship Program offers a dynamic, hands-on experience in the media and news industry. Interns work on meaningful projects, participate in career-building masterclasses, and build relationships with peers and leaders. This role focuses on video production, assisting with field shoots and post-production editing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in field shoots using DSLR cameras
- Help with video editing in Premiere Pro
- Research stories and trends to help shape video content
- Write video headlines and descriptions for digital platforms
- Create thumbnails and promotional assets in Photoshop
- Pull, organize, and maintain video gear for shoots
Requirements
- A strong interest in video production and digital media
- Basic experience with DSLR cameras and Premiere Pro
- Interest in researching and writing for digital video
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
- Open to current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year.
