Thirdfort is scaling and seeks an individual to tackle new challenges, develop new capabilities, and drive execution. This role will focus on high-priority cross-functional projects to improve operations, enhance efficiency, and deliver key business initiatives. The position requires close collaboration with core teams on high-impact projects across engineering, product, hiring, customer experience, and commercial functions. Ideal candidates are quick learners, deep thinkers, and enjoy solving complex problems, with a hands-on, data-driven approach and a desire to own problems through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Own complex, cross-functional programs end-to-end, including scoping, driving, and closing initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Take end-to-end project ownership from inception to execution, including strategic planning, implementation, and performance reporting.
  • Analyze operational data to diagnose issues, formulate decisions, and implement fixes independently.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to identify and resolve challenges, focusing on building, launching, and scaling efficient processes.
  • Drive operational excellence by instilling best practices and elevating delivery standards.
  • Provide operational support by covering squads, leading workstreams, or managing functions during transitions.
  • Develop documented, reusable playbooks and automation for recurring problems, including embedding AI into workflows.

Requirements

  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience in top-tier consulting (strategy) or a high-growth scaleup, with practical delivery and operating experience.
  • Proven ability to act as a generalist, building overarching strategy and delving into specific issues and processes for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated bias for action with a track record of leading initiatives, achieving goals, and succeeding in cross-functional team environments.
  • Experience leveraging AI for meaningful impact and improvements.
  • Experience owning complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end with evidence of delivered outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on data experience, comfortable structuring ambiguous problems and working with numbers.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias for action.
  • Exposure to integrations, business transformation, or M&A is a plus.
  • Experience in a regulated and/or fintech environment is a plus.
