About the Role
Facilitate positive guest experiences with the in-room honor bar, maintaining its cleanliness and appearance. This role involves inventory management, sales recording, and ensuring product availability.
Responsibilities
- Inventory honor bar, in-room accessories, and promotional materials, replacing items as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of each honor bar.
- Utilize software and handheld devices to record sales and take inventory.
- Monitor product availability, expiration dates, and inventory levels to prevent stock-outs.
- Prepare and manage a restocking cart for floor inventory.
- Respond to guest requests.
- Communicate honor bar operational issues to hotel management.
- Follow all company and safety/security policies and procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
- Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships.
- Support team to reach common goals.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Read and visually verify information in various formats.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or entire work shift.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and up/down stairs.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
