About the Role
Peloton is revolutionizing the fitness industry by merging high-design hardware, proprietary software, and world-class content to create the most immersive and engaging fitness experiences. We're seeking a visionary and results-oriented Hardware Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of our existing portfolios. This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role that requires a leader who can navigate technical complexity and drive alignment across the entire organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of connected fitness and the ability to operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and content, making critical product decisions that balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term vision and roadmap for the Peloton portfolio, ensuring it aligns with our broader business goals and anticipates future user needs.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and post-launch analysis, working with a highly cross-functional team and making difficult feature tradeoff decisions.
- Use deep understanding of end-to-end system architecture to inform product decisions, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and user studies to identify new opportunities and validate product decisions.
- Define and track key performance metrics to measure product success and identify areas for future improvement.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience as a Product Manager in hardware (fitness equipment or adjacent consumer hardware).
- Knowledgeable about end-to-end system architecture at a deep level and comfortable discussing tradeoffs and requirements with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers.
- Strong history of success leading highly cross-functional projects from concept to launch.
- Skilled at communicating with and influencing diverse stakeholders, from design and marketing to engineering and operations.
- Deep understanding of the hardware development process, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
