  • Develop and continuously improve alerting logic, detection rules, and operational playbooks for blockchain-related threats and incidents.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate incident response, share insights, and promote consistent security best practices.
  • Evaluate and enhance security posture by tracking industry trends, new threat techniques, and relevant regulatory expectations.
  • Drive process improvements that increase operational efficiency, reduce risk, and improve mean time to detect and respond.
  • Contribute to control and reporting routines by producing clear, actionable updates for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drives reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted workflows to improve threat hunting and detection engineering productivity, ensuring outputs are validated and aligned to security expectations.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification on security and cloud concepts and 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and security infrastructure management.
  • Experience using security information and event management (SIEM) platforms and log analytics to support detection and investigation workflows.
  • Demonstrated expertise across multiple security domains (for example, network security, malware analysis, threat hunting, and security architecture).
  • Advanced knowledge of network and infrastructure configuration and security controls.
  • Experience designing and implementing security solutions for on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support threat intelligence, detection engineering, and security research workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted intelligence findings and detection recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and following security and data handling requirements.
