About the Role
City Veterinary Care is seeking a Receptionist to manage the hospital reception area, greet clients and patients, answer questions, triage concerns, handle calls and emails, schedule appointments, and process payments. The role requires providing emotional support to clients during difficult times and comfort with various medical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
- Greet and welcome clients and patients
- Answer questions and triage client concerns
- Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
- Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
- Check in and check out clients and process payments
- Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to clients
- Be comfortable with various medical outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-year veterinary reception experience
- Experience with Cornerstone software
- Highly organized
- Possess computer skills
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance knowledge and skillset
- Authorization and completion of a satisfactory background check may be required
